The Florida Condos
at Mango Key have a beautiful pool area, reserved for use by guests only, which consists of sun loungers, shaded tables & chairs (provided free of charge of course!), a large swimming pool, a hot tub (whirlpool Jacuzzi), toilets & washrooms and a cold drinks machine. For those that don't want to stroll back to their Florida condo a serving window from the snack bar conveniently opens out onto the pool area.
The pool area is floodlit and is open until 10pm each evening. The deck area overlooks Mango Key Lake and provides both sunny and shaded areas. The pool itself is of a good size and is heated free of charge to 82 degrees for year round usage. The hot tub is kept at a temperature of approximately 102 degrees. The pool at Mango Key is cleaned frequently and is regulated by the state authorities.
Generally, visitors to Florida use the pool in between visits to attractions etc. so there are usually times when the pool is very quiet for those that like it that way and also times when you can go to the pool and have a chat with your fellow guests. Don’t worry about having to walk miles from your condo to the pool – the site is small and compact and the furthest Florida condo is only about 100 yards away from the pool.
Most private pools are too small to swim in, have no Jacuzzi and the house blocks out the sun for long periods of the day. Young children are tempted to wander onto the patio whilst you are relaxing inside the house and can easily fall into the pool with obvious consequences. Heating, if available, is an expensive extra. Mango Key’s pool area has none of these drawbacks and is without doubt one of the best features of the site providing a focal point for people to meet and make new friends whilst relaxing in a superb setting.
